Young vignerons Clémentine and Rémi Isarn have taken on various parcels of vines in an area which straddles the communes of Gabian and Montesquieu (close to Mas Rolland goat farm for those who know the area). The result is two excellent wines with very different profiles. This Syrah Grenache blend is intense and just bursting with garrigue spice and jammy fruit. There is light oaking which adds roundness rather than oakiness. This wine needs opening well in advance or carafing for an hour or so, but will reward you with a fantastic accompaniment for red meat dishes and in particular game.
